I can't remember but you may have to remove the tensioner to get the belt off of it, or possibly you can slip the belt past it sideways. Been a minute since I've done this. Just recently on a 2 hr drive I had the surging really bad. I could not find 'the sweet spot' on the pedal for the life of me.. Xxamter

Bank 1 is always the side of the engine with cylinder #1. Bank 2 is always the side of the engine with cylinder #2. This only matters on the V6, not on the inline 4 cyl. Bank 1 is the bank of cylinders on the firewall side. Bank 2 is the bank of cylinders on the radiator side.
